TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.The Cybersecurity Engineer will perform tasks related to the development of cyber requirements, test definitions, and test plans. Provide Certification and Accreditation (C&A), cyber research, development, and engineering for tactical and enterprise systems and networks. As needed, the Staff Cybersecurity Engineer will provide tactical cyber security support to developing systems, fielded systems, legacy systems, and their development and laboratory infrastructures.Responsibilities:Support engineering system compliance requirements for the RMF process in compliance with Government policies and Intelligence/DoD directives applied to system instantiations on classified systems.Support development of cyber security test plans, and cyber requirements/test definitions.Supports coordination of management, planning, of CVI, ACD, CVPA, AA test teams.Perform Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assessments and hardening for both Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, and networking equipment.Provide (as needed) tactical cyber security support to developing systems, fielded systems, legacy systems, and their development and laboratory infrastructures.Support engineering system compliance requirements for the RMF process in compliance with Government policies and Intelligence/DoD directives applied to system instantiations on NIPR, SIPR, JWICS information systems, and higher classification systems.Support Risk Manager to update or develop baseline system documentation, including system designs, build procedures, requirements documents, test procedures, software code, and system knowledge base RMF Artifacts.Provide cyber lifecycle support to all tasksAssist with ensuring systems are acquired, tested, operated, and maintained in accordance with security policies and procedures as outlined in the security authorization package and other DoD regulations.Attend required technical and security meetings, training (e.g., operating system, networking, security management) relative to assigned duties.Report all security-related incidents.Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package.Serve as member of multiple system security working groups.Coordinate any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system prior to the change.Formally notify management when changes occur that might affect system security.Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctly.Ensure all system security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented (to include any anomalies).

Required Skills and Experience:4+ years of experience management of cyber programs to ensure systems are acquired, tested, operated, and maintained in accordance with security policies and procedures as outlined in the security authorization package and other DoD regulations.4+ years of experience relevant experience in Cybersecurity processes and procedures.4+ years of experience performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assessments and hardening for both Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, and networking equipment. Expertise in of DoD cybersecurity directives and RMF.Experience with an in-depth understanding of eMASS, Xacta, OWASP testing methodology, Dynamic and Static Application Security Testing, re-engineering, automation, ASP.NET/JAVA, IDS/IPS systems, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Qualys, and Metasploit, etc.Proficient with Microsoft Excel to include utilizing formulas, lookups, and multiple worksheets.Experience with Microsoft Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments.Working knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.Desire to learn from experienced IT professionals.Strong interpersonal and communications skills.Analytical and detail oriented.Familiarity with network monitoring technology used to identify potential threat activity, and report and act on suspicious cyber events.Ability to work in a SCIFAn active TS/SCI clearance

Required Education and Certifications:BS in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)CISSPSecurity+CANCCNA-Security and/or MTA certifications.Certifications: IAT II or higher

Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assessments and hardening for both Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, and networking equipmentComputer system/network administration or maintenance experience.Systems Engineering and Linux experience preferred.

Compensation:
