Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Software Developer I, II, III provides technical development and support within the Equipment Technology organization. This position is responsible for the development of Liberty Energy's software applications and platforms focused on equipment operations, health monitoring, and reliability. These applications utilize equipment telemetry data and leverage technologies such as machine learning and AI to enhance equipment performance and predict equipment failures. In this role, the individual will work with a team of developers and technical staff to support this mission, with additional support from the wider technology organization. Whether specializing in front-end, back-end, or full-stack development, the developer will contribute to the overall success of the projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, technical engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.2-5 years professional software development experience.Working knowledge of code repository best practices and use.Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar tools.For Front-End Specialization:Proficient understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular, jQuery, HTML, SCSS/CSS.Familiarity with layout techniques and progressive loading concepts.Experience in building user interfaces from wireframes and designs and deploying applications in a cross-platform/cross-browser environment.Basic understanding of browser compatibility and screen limitations.Knowledge and demonstrated capacity in responsive design/mobile-first development and touch input.For Back-End Specialization:Proficient understanding of server-side languages such as Python or C#.Experience with database management systems such as SQL server or MongoDB and ORM technologies such as Entity Framework or SQLAlchemy.Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend frameworks.Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.For Full-Stack Specialization:A combination of front-end and back-end skills as described above.Ability to design and manage both client-side and server-side architectures.Indicators & Attributes for Success:

$75,000/YR - $115,000/YR

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
