Job Summary/General Purpose of JobManages, maintains, and monitors an entity budget to ensure that allocation of expenditures is consistent with Association financial policies and those of supported independent organizations. Coordinates the purchasing of goods and services, which includes obtaining bids and proposals, and processing contracts and disbursements. Provides staff support and administers as well as supervises member service programs. Responsible for overall office administration and staff support.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)Administers all aspects of the budgetary process for an entity and advises senior staff, members and auditors on budget particulars.Manages administrative processes, i.e., contract administration, iprocurement, invoices, member reimbursements; and develops system to effectively manage.Handles all aspects of the relationships with vendors and/or Affiliate Organizations.Supports and assists with meetings and materials.Analyzes and identifies operational and process-oriented problems and proposes solutions.Supports membership committee including management of new member outreach projects and events.Performs other related duties as required.

Required Education, Qualifications, ExperienceBachelor's degree or 4 years of Association or equivalent experience in accounting/financial management, administration and policy matters.A minimum of four years directly relevant experience.Knowledge of general accounting principles, budgetary processes and annual planning techniques is preferred.Position requires a high level of self-direction, organizational and oversight abilities, communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a team setting and manage multiple reporting relationships, including directing individuals that do not report to the position and being accountable to managers who have no direct supervisory responsibility for the position.Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite.

Extent of Travel Required in the JobTravel 2-3 times per year.
