What Will You Be Doing?

The Senior Network Engineer will perform the following activities:

Work in a large enterprise environment providing design and engineering support for upgrades and new installations.Support Cisco route and switch and Aruba solutions in a large network environmentTransformation of existing infrastructure into modern solutionsConfigure, deploy and troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba products and solutions.Drives problem resolution for issues experienced in the environment.Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves incidents related to Cisco products, services, or solutions.Provides answers for products, services, or solutions questions.Creates or updates, and delivers problem resolution, project collateral and/or knowledge transfer.Assists in documenting and resolving technical problems found in products and solutions.Engages and drives appropriate resources for escalations.Maintains accurate documentation in incident and knowledge management systems.Ensures case management guidelines are followed.Effectively communicates (verbal and written) with the customer and Cisco stakeholders on status and progress of service requestsMust be able to lead, articulate vision, and influence the design, deployment, and analysis of complex networksThis position will include travel to customer sites. Expected travel is approximately 20%.Qualification Requirements for the Sr Network Engineer:

8+ years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.Sec+ CE (CASP+ CE or CISSP preferred), CCNP or higher network certificationMastery knowledge of networking principals and architecture to include WAN, LAN, Wireless, and Cellular communicationMastery knowledge of modern network solutions and applications like ISE, QoS, SD-WAN, SD-Access, 5G, Cloud Networking, system monitoring solutions, and Managed servicesActive Secret clearance requiredProven experience with:

Deployment of enterprise solutionsHardware/software procurement and life cycle managementInstallation and engineering of new solutions and servicesCreating and delivering suggested new solution roadmaps to all levels of an organizationCybersecurity compliance and ATO/SSP documentationThe well-being of WWT employees is essential.
