We are interested in candidates at any stage of their career from the Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels.The Department of Radiology offers two career pathways.Community Practice Pathway:Exclusive focus on clinical work with no research expectations.Productivity-based compensation plan.In-person, hybrid and remote options availableThe department has an excellent track record of obtaining J1 waivers, and candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Information:Subspecialty interpretation of MSK, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiographs. Spine imaging interpretation is shared between the neuroradiology and MSK sections. Our team reads cases referred by Orthopedic Surgery, PM&R and Sports Medicine. Weekend call duties are shared by all local section members and consist of MSK specialty-specific coverage.Experience in standard interventional MSK procedures such as CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsy, spine injection, and joint injection/aspiration is necessary, although we are happy to work with new colleagues to adapt their existing skills to our practice. A subset of attendings perform advanced interventions including kyphoplasty and tumor ablation, and opportunities in this area are available, though skills in this area are not required.The section employs two physician assistants who contribute to managing the procedural workload and associated clinical practice. The section supports two MSK fellows and teaches over 40 residents, many of whom go on to seek MSK fellowship training.The MSK section has clinical and research collaborations with nationally recognized practices in orthopedic and non-operative sports medicine and perform imaging services for many Denver-area professional and collegiate teams. Active limb restoration, spine surgery, rheumatology, oncology, pain management and physical medicine/rehabilitation services provide a wealth of clinical and research opportunities for faculty.
Key Responsibilities:As a member of the Department of Radiology covering multiple sites, the successful recruit will be required to participate in all aspects of our clinical practiceParticipation and collaboration through interdisciplinary conferences is ongoingParticipation in fellow, and resident education is expectedBeing one of the primary radiologists at our hospital, regular interaction with referring providers within our highly collaborative setting is a standard expectation of the role.
