OverviewNakupuna Consulting is seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). This individual will support senior leadership and project team to support service delivery. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who promotes collaboration and embraces learning and innovation.

Serve as the senior technical advisor for strategies dealing with the long-range needs of the Navy.
Develop and applying advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex business problems or issues.
Develop business case analysis, prepare white papers, justifications, alternatives and recommendations, and
Participate and support efforts associated with developing a Strategic Plan, Operating Plan and other corporate initiatives.
Analyzes complex requirements, status, budget and schedules.
Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to NAVAIR command programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules.
Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
QualificationsSkills/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience working in NAVAIR or a Navy SYSCOM. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
At least eight (8) years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas: Business financial analysis, continual process improvement, communication techniques or managing data for large organizations.
This individual must have experience working with industry/government executive level personnel.
Demonstrated knowledge of management and operations of Department of Navy Systems Commands.
Experience using and designing Microsoft 365 applications including office, PowerBI, SharePoint, PowerPoint, power automate and lists.
Education and Experience:
This position requires at least 4 years of relevant experience and a BS or BA degree in Business Administration or other "Relevant Managerial Discipline". An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA / BS.

Clearance Requirements:
This position requires an active
SECRET
security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements:
The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job
with or without a reasonable accommodation :

Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
