Our client, an engineering support services firm and federal subcontractor, is looking for a Database Administrator to join their team in support of a federal customer. This person will be responsible for implement new and modify existing databases and systems, primary responsibilities are below:
* Monitor database performance and develop optimum values for database parameters.
o Specify users and user access levels and identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems
* Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage or disclosure
* Coordinate changes to databases, test and implement the database
* Schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products
* Develop standards and user guidelines to access database

* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science
