All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: PRN NightsShift : 7pm to 7am as neededLocation: AdventHealth Hendersonville 100 Hospital Drive Hendersonville NC 28792The role youll contribute: Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Department Director, the Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory care services in accordance with specific physicians orders, department policies and procedures.The value youll bring to the team:Responsible for providing respiratory services in accordance with specific physicians orders, department policies and procedures.Maintain knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment. Remain alert, assess possible side effects to oxygen therapy .Set-up and monitor mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for such treatment, such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.Perform all additional duties as assigned by the department director.

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:Successfully passed the Registered Respiratory Therapist exam with the National Board for Respiratory CareCurrent license with the North Carolina Respiratory Care BoardCurrent BLS requiredCurrent NRP required within 90 days of hireCurrent PALS and ACLS preferred
