Position Overview:
As a Production Operator at Maverick Pipe, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process. You'll ensure the efficient production of piping products while maintaining a safe and clean working environment. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, performing quality inspections, and collaborating effectively with team members.
Role and Responsibilities:Work a scheduled shift dedicated to producing product, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting production goals.Maintain a safe and clean working area by following company policies and procedures for housekeeping and safety.Follow safety policies and procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and injuries.Perform required quality inspections of product to ensure compliance with specifications and standards, reporting any defects or deviations promptly.Maintain acceptable attendance that meets Maverick's policy, reporting to work as scheduled and minimizing unplanned absences.Work well with others, fostering a positive team environment, and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.Follow leadership direction from supervisors and team leaders to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.Minimum Requirements to Fulfill Job Duties:
Ability to work a scheduled shift dedicated to producing product, including flexibility for overtime as needed.Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working area, adhering to safety policies and procedures.Demonstrated ability to perform required quality inspections of product in a timely manner.Acceptable attendance record that meets Maverick's policy, reporting to work as scheduled and minimizing unplanned absences.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.Willingness to follow leadership direction and contribute to the success of the team.Other duties as assigned by managementExpected Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Capacity to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and performing quality inspections.Ability to work in environments with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.Comfortable wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Benefits:
