** Sr. Data Warehouse Developer****Position Overview**RGA in St. Louis MO seeks Sr. Data Warehouse Developer to perform the following duties: independently design, develop, test, implement, document, and support data warehouses, including ETL, database, and scheduling technologies and processes. Must apply a general understanding of the respective data warehouse source and target systems and leverage a general knowledge of business intelligence and big data technologies and processes to execute responsibilities.**Responsibilities**Specific duties include:i) creating and supporting the ETL process to extract the data from source systems and place it into the data warehouse;ii) performing data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation;iii) designing, developing, and maintaining relational databases for data storage and data mining;iv) working with business and IT stakeholders to optimize reporting information by defining business requirements and populating the data warehouse table structure;v) creating data warehouse schematics and layouts and assisting with developing capacity planning;vi) recommending improvements and applying standards processes, and procedures for data warehousing systems;vii) seeking continuous data warehouse performance with improvement and ensuring security of data;viii) creating and implementing effective metrics and monitoring processes;ix) leading small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; andx) serving as a resource and impacting the quality of work for colleagues with less experience.**Requirements**BS in Computer Science or a closely related field.The individual must possess at least 48 months of data warehouse or relevant experience;48 months ETL, database and scheduling experience;12 months of data analysis experience;experience in Kimball dimension modeling;experience utilizing Informatica Power Center & Data Validation option, Tidal enterprise scheduler, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Vertica.Qualified applicants can submit their CV and cover letter to: www.rgare.com/careersJob Detail* Reference number **US05897*** Date posted **18/07/2021*** Closing date **17/08/2021*** Location **Chesterfield*** Job Functions **Information Technology*** Work Location **Chesterfield MO**
