We are currently seeking a
Full-time RN (Registered Nurse)
to join our
Substance Use Disorder
team at
Maryland Correctional Institute of Women (MCIW)
located in
Jessup, Maryland.
The
Registered Nurse (RN)
(SUD) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Qualifications
Full-time Day Shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm (Rotational Weekends)Active RN license to practice in MarylandMinimum of two years of experience working in a community or correctional based substance abuse clinicMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSCurrent tuberculosis documentationAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:
