Senior Audit Associate
Our client, a CPA firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC, has been providing their advisory and accounting services for over 30 years to privately held businesses. They service a wide range of clients throughout the Carolinas and beyond. This role leads the charge on audit engagements, mentoring staff-level employees, and ensuring clients receive top-notch service.
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days Remote per week!)
* Company offers 1 week off at July 4th, 1 week off at Thanksgiving, and 1 week off between Christmas and New Years!
Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute audits, reviews, and compilations for clients.* Guide and mentor junior staff and interns, helping them reach their full potential.* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.* Build strong relationships and provide timely, stellar advice, insights, and responses to client inquiries.* Review workpapers and financial statements.* Ensure complete accuracy and compliance with industry standards.* Stay informed on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.* Offer fresh perspectives and solutions to the team.* Participate in special projects and initiatives.* Bring innovative ideas and solutions to the table.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance* CPA certification* 3-5 years of public accounting experience* Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.* Experienced in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite* Excellent communicator with a passion for mentoring, client service, and teamwork.
