Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement boiler control systems for various projects, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test control strategies for boiler systems.
- Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor boiler processes.
- Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of control systems to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure necessary components for control systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure proper installation and functionality of control systems.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in boiler control systems and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and experience with PLC programming and HMI design.
- Proficiency in developing PLC programs using Rockwell Automation software.
- Experience with boiler control systems, including combustion control and BMS.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to various project sites.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
