THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL: Defining and implementing IT policies and systems that support the company’s strategic goals. Leading IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems. Collaborating with the executive leadership to align company information technology with strategic direction. Overseeing the management of IT department staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Establishing IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures. Identifying opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development. Assessing and communicating risks associated with IT investments. Developing and maintaining a plan for organization-wide IT security to ensure the protection of IT assets and data integrity. Other duties as assigned. DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS: Proven leadership and managerial skills. Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems. Strong strategic and business mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and manage large IT projects from conception to implementation. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration. Experience in the relevant industry. Demonstrated success in developing IT strategies aligned with business goals. Prior experience managing budgets and fiscal reporting. CERTIFICATIONS: Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or similar are highly desirable. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) can be advantageous.
