We have a great opportunity for a Tax Manager! The Tax Manager is an integral part of the tax compliance group primarily responsible for domestic compliance and tax accounting for the Sports and Entertainment operations of Fox Corporation.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESReview corporate and partnership federal, state, and local income tax returns in accordance with relevant tax laws and regulations.Review quarterly estimated tax payments and tax return extensions, including monitoring payment deadlines.Review interim and year-end tax provisions with a focus on current taxable income calculation and validation of deferred balances in accordance with ASC 740.Liaise with finance and accounting personnel to collect and analyze financial information for assigned business divisions and document calculations, assumptions, and conclusions to support income tax filings and forecasts.Develop an understanding of the business operations for assigned business divisions.Assist with responses to tax notices, including corresponding with taxing authorities to resolve inquiries and disputes.Day-to-day management of tax team members and/or consultants on assigned projects.Provide tax support to other corporate and operating groups.Assist with various projects related to income tax audits and planning.WHAT YOU WILL NEEDBachelor's degree.5+ years of domestic income tax compliance experience; public accounting in a nationally recognized firm.Strong understanding of domestic corporate and partnership income tax principles.Strong understanding of basic tax accounting concepts.Strong tax technical research skills.Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environment.Ability to perform responsibilities independently, effectively, and efficiently when working remotely.Self-starter with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively as a part of a team.Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Xlookup, logical formulas).NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKERMajor in accounting and MBT and/or CPA.Public accounting experience in a nationally recognized firm.Experience with Corptax, Alteryx, and Workday.#LI-DNIWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
