The successful candidate will have a diverse background with design and management experience, capable of guiding staff development and a desire to expand these skills. Demonstrated experience working within transportation projects from conception through construction across a variety of delivery methods is desirable.Otak is preparing the following projects and would be excited to have you be a part of them!Owner’s representation role on major Columbia River Crossing.Bridge inspection services.Opportunities at National Parks, nationwide.What you'll do:Design and manage regional bridge and structures designs needed in support of both public and private clients.Lead business development efforts for bridges and structures in Oregon and Washington.Assist in mentorship and assigning duties and schedules to team members.Participate and support preparing proposals and project scope, schedule, and budget.Opportunity to strengthen client relationships and translate that to business development.What you'll bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required. Master’s Degree in Civil or related Engineering (Desirable).Minimum of 10 years of experience in Public highway bridge design and construction support projects.Licensed Oregon and/or Washington Professional Engineer required (or can be obtained). Washington Structural Engineer (Desirable).Relationships with Oregon and/or Washington local and state agencies.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Desire to teach and mentor junior staff in engineering, technical and business practices.Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and work location as well as market and business considerations.
