Engineering @ IroncladAs a Senior Software Engineer at Ironclad, you'll work cross-functionally to identify business problems and architect, build, and verify solutions. You'll build a platform that lets lawyers scale themselves and their businesses 100x more effectively. If you’d like to join us on our mission to build the product that legal teams love, let’s talk!What you'll do:Collaborate cross functionally with designers, product managers, and other engineers to spec, design, and build features and systemsPartner with quality engineers to define, build and maintain testing strategyLead, mentor and provide thoughtful feedback to others on the teamGrow your teams by interviewing and recruiting talented engineers to IroncladWork on a modern stack built upon: TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Java, and Docker containers in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (experience with these specific technologies not required)What we look for:At least 4+ years of software experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining complex systems (a formal degree is not required, we are prioritizing industry experience)Technically skilled to lead projects from start to end with a high quality barStrong backend experience with some exposure to front endStrong communication and collaboration skillsExperience partnering with product to make informed trade-offs between product requirements and technical complexityCan mentor and provide thoughtful feedback to other engineers on the teamCan effectively communicate inside and outside of their teamSelf-organizing and able to plan their own work as well as othersExperience with TypeScript and Node.jsIt would be nice to have familiarity with technologies like ReactJS, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, SQLPrior experience working in data system or enterprise data modeling.Strong knack in identifying performance improvement that comes with scaleBenefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance401kWellness reimbursementTake what you need vacation policyGenerous parental leave for both primary and secondary caregiversBase Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters.
