The Business Development Manager will develop relationships within target customers to penetrate the organizations and open doors to new business opportunities in the Defense & Aerospace Market.Nature of Duties:Deploy global account strategy in conjunction with Management to achieve aims and objectives set for the business.Aggressively attack Design, EMS and Machining business opportunities to ensure competitive take-away, market share growth and prime strategic positioning for future business successes.Meet and exceed sales revenues targets set by Management.Communicate issues and problems back into the company to drive and assist with resolution.Identify, qualify and close new business in line with set quotas and engage appropriate resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution.Own and manage related RFQs and ensure timely response delivery while feeding information back into Management in support of developing Business Plans.Regularly update sales data system with customer data, new opportunity logs and call plans.Education and Experience:BA or BS degree.Minimum 8 years sales experience in the manufacturing industry with proven success in meeting/exceeding goals and objectives.Knowledge of machining with a background in manufacturing and a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain and OEM's manufacturing requirements.Well-rounded experience in the Defense & Aerospace market segment and sub-segments.Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and closing skills.Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations.Excellent MS Office skills.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize actions.Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence outcomes.Responsible for presenting to (internal) executive teams and conveying the status of the business and growth opportunities.Develop the growth strategy for the machining organization and ensure objectives are being met.Work closely with Operations Management to ensure goals, objectives and budgets are met.Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.For California Residents:
Salary Range (annual) $100,000 - $130,000.
