TEG Clinical Specialist for our Los Angeles marketJOB SUMMARYSupport sales process through clinical education and ongoing value demonstration of the TEG line.ESSENTIAL DUTIESDuties are listed in order of greatest importance. The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.Increase product usage at existing accounts and expand customer base through clinical education of new users. Ensure customers can operate TEG equipment, software, and related disposables independently, safely, and efficiently.Train new and existing customers on all product and clinical aspects of the TEG line. Provide a summary of training and ensure follow-up as needed.Provide clinical expertise to help ensure that TEG reaches the standard of care levels within the account.Help drive and expand the existing business by broadening the application of TEG to incorporate all TEG assays within the account.Visit assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions, and establish relationships with key decision-makers.Provision of dedicated onsite support for new TEG customers "going live" with the technology or additional assays.Resolve customer concerns through accurate and timely investigation and partner with sales team members to develop solutions.Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Provide history by maintaining records on the area of responsibility and customers in that area.Conduct Grand Rounds Presentations, classroom-style training, 1:1 training, and in-services.Assist customers in tailoring their TEG training materials and needs.Understand competition and convert to TEG business in existing accounts.Work closely with the Account Manager in the overlapping market to target key accounts for expansion and forecast revenue increase during quarterly business planning and monthly cadence calls with management.Support VAD/ECMO, Trauma, CV, and Critical Care clinicians in their use of TEG.Provide tradeshow support both regionally and nationally.EDUCATIONRequired:Bachelor's Degree - Science, Nursing, or Medical TechnologyPreferred:Master's Degree - Advanced Degree and/or professional credentialingEXPERIENCEPreferred:3 years Industry related experience, preferably in diagnosticsRequired:Clinical or industry experience in the hospital/OR environmentExperience in training and development of clinical education and training programsSKILLSDemonstrated written communication skillsStrong verbal communication and listening skillsAbility to lead/manage othersEffective interpersonal skillsOther: Knowledge of blood management requiredOther: Strong technical/clinical aptitude to understand, and train customers and users on products (including running the TEG Analyzer, understanding the application of results, and manipulating the software).EEO Policy StatementPay Transparency:

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms.
