We are currently seeking an experienced audit manager to join our Assurance practice in our Costa Mesa office. This person will be responsible for planning and executing assurance engagements, maintaining and developing client relationships and training and developing staff associates.

ResponsibilitiesPlan, supervise and execute audit and review engagements of clients in various industries.Maintain profitable realization rates.Research technical accounting issues and determine compliance with professional standards and firm policy.Review reports and financial statements.Review with the engagement partner significant findings that raise questions involving auditing standard and firm policy.Manage risk and ensure quality control procedures are being executed.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client management.Provide on-the-job training to associates.Generate new business annually for new and existing clients - preferred, not required.Effectively manage employee and client expectations.Complete performance evaluations constructively and timely, and also provide ongoing performance feedback to employees.Maintain required annual CPE.QualificationsBBA/BS/MS in Accounting.Must be a licensed CPA.Five years of current or recent financial statement audit experience with a public accounting firm.Applied knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)/Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).Ability to communicate effectively with audit team (Partner and staff) and clients.Decisively identify and execute solutions to problems.Ability to research complex technical issues.Ability to meet challenging client requirements and provide exceptional service.Travel - Minimal. Most clients are in the southern California area and/or audit/review work is performed remotely.Compensation RangeSalary: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00
