In this role, you will be leading a team of Business Systems Analysts (BSA) responsible for the management, support, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing applications to meet the specific needs of our business. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, provide strategic guidance, and architect solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle Fusion technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, project managers and Oracle CAB, CSM, COE and others to deliver successful outcomes.Your Key Job FunctionsTeam Leadership:
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of BSAs setting clear goals and expectations for the team, aligning them with business objectives and requirements. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.Communication & Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment of expectations and timely resolution of issues. Foster collaboration and teamwork among BSAs, business teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders. Facilitate cross-functional discussions and workshops to ensure a holistic understanding of requirements and effective solution design.Requirements Gathering:
Work closely with business to gather and analyze business requirements for applications implementation or enhancement projects. Guide the team in conducting thorough requirement analysis, ensuring that all relevant business processes and pain points are identified and addressed.Solution Design:
Lead the design of comprehensive solutions leveraging the expertise of the team to ensure alignment with business needs and industry best practices. Review and approve solution designs proposed by team members, providing feedback and guidance as needed.Architecture Development:
Lead the functional solution architecture process, ensuring that solutions proposed by the team meet requirements and align with best practices. Develop scalable and sustainable architecture designs that adhere to industry best practices.System Integration:
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion applications and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.System Configuration:
Configure Oracle Fusion applications to meet requirements utilizing built-in features.Performance Optimization:
Collaborate with technical teams to optimize the performance and scalability of applications through tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Quality Assurance:
Partner with others to conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that solutions meet functional and technical specifications, performance requirements, and security standards.Documentation:
Prepare functional and technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Oracle Fusion applications. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the implemented solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor providing guidance on Oracle Fusion best practices, industry trends, and technology advancements.What You Bring to the TeamExcellent organizational and customer service skills with a commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, ensuring solutions meet or exceed expectations.Ability to effectively lead or collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide team members.Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with stakeholders and team members. You should be able to translate technical concepts into non-technical language and vice versa.Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify pain points, and propose effective solutions using Oracle Fusion applications.In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion applications suite, including modules such as Finance, Human Capital Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle Fusion applications to meet specific business requirements.Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion architecture, data model, and integration capabilities.Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools such as Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, BI Publisher, etc.Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to Oracle Fusion applications.The IT landscape, including Oracle Fusion applications, is constantly evolving. Being adaptable and willing to learn new technologies, methodologies, and best practices is essential for long-term success in this role.Education/TrainingBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, business administration or related field.Proven experience (10+ years) as a functional or technical Solution Architect, with a focus on Oracle Fusion applications.Previous experience in roles such as business analyst, functional consultant, or similar positions within Oracle Fusion projects.Experience leading or participating in full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementation projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.Oracle Cloud certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect, Oracle Cloud Platform Functional Consultant, etc. is a plus.Oracle Fusion Applications certifications such as Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management, Supply Chain Management is a plus.Why BrinkerWe offer a competitive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, paid vacation/holidays, and 401(k) with company match and generous dining discounts.
