Keck School of MedicineFacultySan Diego, CaliforniaThe University of Southern California (USC) seeks a candidate to contribute to collaborative research at the Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) Neuroscience Translational Research Division (NTRD) in San Diego. This position will also lead an independent research lab focused on translational basic science studies for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.The candidate should have a track record of independent research and participation in collaborative projects in the field of Alzheimer’s disease translational research.Responsibilities include experimental planning and execution of the project, working closely with other NTRD PIs, team members, and collaborators. The candidate must display strong mentorship skills for junior scientists/PhD candidates and excel at oral and written scientific communication. Recognition for technical and scientific leadership as demonstrated by a publication record in leading neuroscience journals is essential.The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000-$160,000.
