The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors and be responsible for leadership and management of the organization, representing the Sutton Center to government agencies, public, and media.The Sutton Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding cooperative conservation solutions for birds and the natural world through science and education. www.suttoncenter.org .Responsibilities:Lead a staff of biologists and associates.Manage development and financial operations.Oversee project management while maximizing the facilities and assets of the organization.Represent the Sutton Center to government agencies, public, and media.Qualifications:A history of business management and strategic planning.Knowledge of human resources and an understanding of avian species conservation and preservation.Excellent communication and speaking skills.Successful track record in fundraising, grants, and diversifying business lines.University degrees in business, science, or finance are desired.Compensation will be reflective of the candidate's qualifications.Please send resumes and questions to the search committee at
