Opportunity to join a collaborative consulting group that integrates broad environmental program solutions with a particular emphasis on enhancing health and safety elements.About the role:As a leader in EA’s rapidly growing Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) consulting practice, you’ll work with an experienced multidisciplinary team to conceive, develop, and implement occupational health and safety programs and management systems for a broad range of clients. You’ll have a critical role in driving growth of the practice, collaborating with your fellow employee-owners to expand existing client relationships and develop new ones. You’ll have the satisfaction of leading client opportunities from proposal through project execution and beyond. You’ll take pride in applying your consulting experience and technical knowledge to mentor some of the best and brightest developing EHSS professionals, helping them grow as consultants, and will continue your own professional growth in the company of world-class colleagues of all experience levels. Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Technical leadership and project management for safety, occupational health, and industrial hygiene projects and programs for a range of clients.Strategic planning, in partnership with EA operations and service line management, for growth of EA’s safety, occupational health, and industrial hygiene practice and services.Establishment and growth of professional relationships with existing and new clients and collaborative partnerships with internal/external team members.Coordination of work across departments and with subcontractors to ensure seamless, timely, and cost-effective execution of tasks under assigned projects and programs.Mentoring of technical and project/task management staff.To thrive in this role, you:Have both ability and desire to collaborate and are an effective written and oral communicator.Have a strong working knowledge of safety, occupational health, and industrial hygiene program development, and are willing and able to share your knowledge and experience.Have worked with clients to develop and/or expand safety, health, and industrial hygiene programs.Are comfortable conceiving and communicating a clear vision for projects and programs and are able to actively engage clients in understanding their bigger picture goals as well as specific project and program needs, translate needs to actionable tasks, and direct project staff in their execution.Have experience initiating and growing professional relationships with clients and collaborative partnerships with internal/external team members.Have the ability to coordinate work across departments and with subcontractors to ensure seamless, timely, and cost-effective execution of tasks under assigned projects and programs.The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in occupational health, environmental science, policy, engineering, or a related discipline and more than 10 years of experience leading multidisciplinary efforts is required.
