This position is on the Criminal Division's (CRM) Office of Administration, Human Resources Operations Team (HR Operations) which supports CRM's mission of prosecuting high profile and nationally significant cases. This position is located on the Human Resources Operations team, which handles the staffing, recruitment, payroll, and benefits functions for the Criminal Division. As a

Lead HR Specialist , you will:Work closely with hiring managers through all stages of the recruitment process to include developing assessments, drafting vacancies, evaluating applicants, and tendering offers of employment.Advise supervisors in developing accurate position descriptions and assuming responsibility for their technical adequacy in meeting classification requirements.Provide research and analysis on issues related to staffing and recruitment such as the use of different hiring authorities, pay flexibilities, audit requirements, and recruitment methods.Manage the workload of all staffing and recruitment efforts for assigned team of HR Specialists and HR Assistants.Review work of assigned team of HR Specialists and HR Assistants to include vacancy announcements and quality review of qualifications decisions.Assist in preparing for DE and Human Capital audits.Salary

$117,962 - $153,354/yearConditions of Employment

To qualify at the GS-13 level,

applicants must have one year of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-12 federal grade level. Examples of specialized experience must include duties such as supporting a federal staffing and recruitment program and providing management advisory services related to staffing and recruitment.How to Apply
