CF Private Equity is one of North America’s most prominent institutional investment management firms. Our global professional staff of over 50 serves over 800 investors including insurance companies, single and multi-family offices, mission-based organizations, and pension plans. We have managed over $23 billion of private capital commitments since inception, including ~$3.0 billion in secondaries. We are currently seeking candidates for a ten-week internship position starting in the summer of 2025. The position would be within CF Private Equity’s Secondary Team, with the stated goal of converting the individual(s) into a full-time employee upon graduation.This position is based in Darien, CT.Primary Responsibilities:
Price leveraged buyout, venture capital, and real asset investment fundsBuild detailed financial models to analyze investment meritsUnderwrite the individual assets in each fund gaining broad exposure to hundreds of companies across multiple industriesMonitor existing secondary investments and performanceSpecial projects as assignedQualifications:
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate studentAnticipated graduation date: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPAResume must be in PDF format1+ years of relevant coursework (Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, etc.)Strong analytical skills, including use of Microsoft Office Excel for quantitative analysisAbility to complete assignments independently and on a timely basisAbility to collaborate with other team members to accomplish broader goals and objectivesStrong analytical, oral, and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
