Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Hewitt Docks, Lifts, and Pontoon Legs. As the VP of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for leading and executing our sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong background in market analysis, technical sales, and business development.
The VP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for enhancing sales, brand positioning, and shaping dealer and customer experience strategies. As a senior leader at Hewitt, you will play a pivotal role in setting the direction for sales, marketing, and dealer engagement to maximize revenue and foster customer loyalty.
The VP of Sales and Marketing will collaborate closely with company owners to strategically define and elevate the company's branding and sales direction, emphasizing an enhanced dealer and customer experience and building relationships.
Strategic Leadership
Develop, refine, and execute strategic priorities.
Oversee, develop, and execute comprehensive strategies for sales and marketing growth, ensuring alignment with organization objectives.
Establish deep knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to identify potential opportunities or threats.
Operational Performance
Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve sales growth and expand the brand.
Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and positioning in the market.
Define and implement best practices for dealer and customer experience.
Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Oversee and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sales, marketing, and dealer/customer experience efforts.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Model and reinforce actions and behaviors consistent with the company’s values, mission, and culture.
Foster a dealer/customer-centric approach that delivers exceptional experiences.
Own overall team performance, growth trajectory, and pacing towards business goals.
Effective leadership skills, including inspiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to foster a positive team culture and contribute to the larger company culture.
Participate in employee activities such as interviewing, onboarding, and training.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in senior sales and marketing leadership roles.
Proven record of driving sales growth, building successful marketing strategies, and delivering and defining exceptional customer experiences.
Understanding of the luxury goods and marine industry, including consumer behavior, trends, and industry best practices.
Demonstrated history of success in leading teams, fostering a motivated and collaborative work environment, and harnessing the unique strengths of team members to achieve common goals.
Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams).
Initiative-taking with effective communication skills and positive attitude.
