CARDIOVASCULAR INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST - HEART CATHERIZATION LAB

$43.27 - $73.37/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education. Level 1 Tech: Minimum: $43.27 Maximum: $66.53 Level 2 Tech: Minimum: $45.41 Maximum: $69.85 Level 3 Tech: Minimum: $47.72 Maximum: $73.37 Sign-on bonus eligible for all levels Schedule: Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem positions are available. Standby/on-call is required with a 30-minute response time requirement. On-call pay provided. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Use departmental and organizational resources appropriately. Is competent in left heart hemodynamic and physiological measurement recording on the current system for levels 2 and 3. Proven competencies in rhythm and dysrhythmia recognition (ACLS current) for levels 2 and 3. Ability to operate multiple specialized modalities to include, but not limited to, pressure transducers, blood oximetry, and thermodilution cardiac output for levels 2 and 3. Setup of dedicated equipment for physiological coronary flow reserve, intravascular and intracardiac ultrasound, pressure injectors, atherectomy systems, and thrombus extraction devices. Scrub assists advances in interventional procedures to include coronary and endovascular stents, and electrophysiology/ablation. Pacemaker and defibrillator generator implants and intra-atrial occlusion device implants. Assists with daily inventory scanning of patient encounters to the web-based tracking system. Maintain attendance according to hospital policy and procedure. Performs other duties as assigned. Level 1: Education Training & Experience Associate degree or higher. Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program is required. Level 2: Education Training & Experience Associate degree or higher. Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program is required. Previous cardiac, endovascular, or electrophysiology experience preferred. 2 years of Cardiovascular Radiology experience required. Level 3: Education Training & Experience Associate degree or higher. Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program is required. Experience must include right and left hemodynamic monitoring, using a laser for procedures, and performing all (HVI/Radiology) procedures. EP and Cardiovascular Radiology Experience Required.
