Will you join us?ResponsibilitiesPage is seeking a qualified Sr Sustainability Specialist to join our Building Science team. The position of Sustainability Specialist will provide sustainable consulting services within the firm, primarily for projects seeking certification through LEED and high performance design, but also serve as a subject matter expert within our Building Science team.Based on your background, you may provide leadership in other areas including:Market Sector leadership for advanced manufacturing, mission critical, or healthcare projectsPractice leadership for team oversight, pursuit support, management of othersOur Building Sciences practice area works as an integrated bridge between architecture and engineering to create higher performing, healthier, and more resilient buildings. We are a firm wide resource responsible for elevating the discussion of performance and sustainability for all of our projects and measuring results to help quantify how we’re fulfilling our vision of “design that makes lives better.”Responsibilities:Conducts project goal setting and early alignment of sustainability impactsLeads sustainability project management and 3rd party certification effortsAssists designers, clients, engineers and contractors with sustainable design research and implementationDevelops and presents sustainability trainings in addition to cultivating firm-wide resourcesMaintains knowledge of sustainability, wellness, and energy related regulations / certification programsMonitors, tracks, and benchmarks projects and goalsPrepares materials for sustainable design awardsServes as an internal and external leader in issues of firm technical capability with respect to sustainable designOther responsibilities based on your market sector expertise or team leadership capabilitiesQualificationsBachelor’s in architecture, architectural, mechanical or environmental engineering5-8 years of relevant LEED Project management experienceLEED specialty credentialDemonstrated experience developing, implementing and evaluating sustainability concepts and strategiesStrong knowledge of LEED and other 3rd party systems (Green Globes, WELL, fitwel, Guiding Principles)Familiarity with Building Performance Analysis to help guide project processesEffective project management, task management, and following throughAdept change agent dedicated to improving processesAnalytical thinker with strong problem-solving skillsStrong written and communication skills (presentation/training ability)Base Compensation:
