Location: Remote with an estimated 50% travel
Job Description
Activities include monitoring and evaluation tasks, strategic analysis, and sectoral and cross-sectoral assessments, all within the humanitarian sectors of interventions including public health, WASH, Agriculture, Shelter, Livelihoods, Cash-Based programming, Information Management, Governance, and Economic Growth. Required Experience
Experience with USAID/OFDA, DOS/NEA/PRM, DFID, EC and/or any other international donor required. Between 5 and 10 years of experience evaluating development projects, developing evaluation design and/or managing M&E projects required. Demonstrated experience in leading rigorous impact evaluations and assessments, statistical and econometric analysis, and survey design and data collection. Experience conducting monthly assessments, reporting, and follow-up. Expertise in evaluation of humanitarian sectors, agriculture, food and non-food items, democracy and governance, education and/or social inclusion programs desired. Proven experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders, including donor/development organizations, government officials, civil society leaders, community leaders, and project beneficiaries. Regional experience required. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently and effectively within tight deadlines. Experience building organizational capacity in monitoring and evaluation and/or training individuals in monitoring and evaluation desired. Fluency in written and spoken English required; Arabic and/or French a plus. How to Apply
