SUMMARY

This is an exciting time to join our Due Diligence Services team! We have spent the past few years reimagining our Due Diligence Services function integrating expertise, technology and process improvements. We are seeking an experienced content manager who can hit the ground running partnering with our Head of Due Diligence Services, across our team and the organization’s subject matter experts to enhance the commercial impact of the content within our Qvidian RFP database and evolve the way we use our library to drive efficiency in alignment with industry best practices. As a critical leader on the RFP team, the Diligence Content Manager will oversee the commercial evolution of our diligence content, development and adherence to our editorial style guide, enhancement and management of our library structure within our Qvidian RFP database, implementation of our content governance model, and evolution of our use of technology in keeping with financial services diligence industry best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the revamp of our RFP response library to ensure compelling commercially aware strategic content is on the ready to position our capabilities, solutions and services for new and existing mandate diligence responses.

Leverage deep alternative and institutional marketplace knowledge and apply superior writing skills in the development, review and approval of new and existing diligence response content.

Develop an editorial style guide that ensures universal alignment with defined content best practices and oversee adoption within the team and library.

Collaborate with the diligence services team and subject matter experts to proactively define content gaps or needed enhancements and develop/edit content solutions based on a deep understanding of library offering.

Develop and maintain relationships with SMEs across the firm to facilitate content development and maintenance aligned to our governance model.

Develop a detailed and fluid understanding of GCM Grosvenor’s solutions and services to enable effective content oversight.

Maintain an effective and efficient database library structure and tagging logic to ensure optimal search outcomes and usability.

Oversee governance processes based on best practices to ensure content accuracy, updates and legal and compliance requirements are implemented.

Lead efforts to template and automate commonly used data points, questionnaires, DDQ and cover letters.

Lead database training efforts for new employees and SMEs to ensure adoption and seamless workflow.

Rollout Qvidian workflow across subject matter experts and oversee ongoing integration within the system and the RFP process, continuing to partner with the team to champion efficiency and effectiveness.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:

10 years of experience as an RFP content manager in the investment management space

Minimum of 2-5 years of prior experience as an RFP writer

Superior editorial/writing skills and experience relative to RFP content development and best practice approaches to achieve commercially oriented narratives

Knowledge of RFP database technology required (Qvidian experience is preferred although candidates with experience in Loopio or RFPIO will also be considered)

Deep understanding of the RFP process in the institutional sales cycle

Deep knowledge of alternative investments, preferably private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate and absolute return investing

Experience leading cross-functional new initiatives and process development

Strong executive presence and judgement, with interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior functional leaders and investment teams

Ability to lead a function independently, knowing when to elevate problems and how to find answers

Excellent time, project management and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to act as both a team player and independent thinker

High attention to detail, including solid proofreading skills is critical

Clear verbal and written communication skills

Ability to understand investment and financial data

Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Advanced skills using Microsoft Word and Excel required

Salesforce and Seismic experience are a plus

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
