About the role:We're seeking an innovative, driven, team-oriented Principal Product Manager to own the Monitor Yield Outlook product at ClimateAi. The product aims to enhance food security for governments and supply chain resilience for food companies. It uses biophysics-based AI approaches to model the impacts of extreme weather/climate change on food supply chains and drive procurement strategies for food companies and governments.What you’ll doBuild on the early successes of our Monitor Yield Outlook product. You will go deep with our customers—both existing and prospective customers—to build target user persona(s) and help shape a product roadmap that delivers value for these personas’ use cases.Own the feature development process from end to end, including product strategy and vision, quarterly roadmap reviews, developing product requirements, testing plans, feature release notes, metrics instrumentation & tracking, and bug triaging.Report directly to the CEO and work closely to develop and refine the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization.Engage our sales and customer success teams to understand where acquisition, activation, and retention issues are occurring and develop product-led frameworks to address these issues.Lead a cross-functional pod of software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to shape and deliver on initiatives that drive value for our customers - you should be eager to learn from our data science and engineering teams, and be familiar working closely with technical teams.Closely collaborate with our sales and business team to help position the Monitor Yield Outlook product in the market from both a customer value and technical differentiation perspective – this can include creating sales enablement materials (e.g., decks, FAQs, competitor analysis), crafting thought pieces and product marketing materials, and iterating on product pricing & packaging.Nice to HaveExperience in agricultural and food industry, supply chain management technology would be a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related technical field.Experience in data analytics platform.MBA.CompensationThe base compensation range for this role for employees based in the US is $160,000-215,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at ClimateAi and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, business need and US location.We are accepting applications on a rolling basis.
