Kenai Peninsula College is looking for excellent adjunct faculty to teach face-to-face or online courses in support of programs at one or more of the Soldotna or Seward locations representing KPC.Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students.Expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the subject matter to college students.Minimum Qualifications:For academic areas, such as the arts, sciences, humanities and social sciences, adjunct instructors should have a master's degree in the discipline or related subject area.
Career/technical education adjunct instructors credentials vary based on the discipline and may require a bachelors, masters, or certification in the subject area. In some cases extensive experience in the subject area may be considered.
Successful applicants must provide official transcripts documenting academic credentials required for the position as a condition of employment. Qualifying earned degrees must be conferred either by institutions of higher education which are accredited by one of the six US regional accrediting associations or by an equivalent international institution of higher education as determined by UAA based on a review by a foreign educational credential evaluation service and recognized by UAA.Position Details:This position is located on the Kenai Peninsula College campus in Soldotna or Seward, and flexible or remote work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations.
