This position monitors, assigns, and reviews work of Child Support attorneys and other assigned staff in the legal unit; conducts staff training and performance evaluations, schedules and authorizes leave; recommends necessary disciplinary action; participates in hiring of new staff; assists the Program Administrator of Child Support Enforcement (CSE) in the development of policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Independently prepares various basic and complex legal documents. Participates in litigation proceedings involving child support enforcement.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:• Admission to the Ohio Bar per Section 4705.01 of the ORC.Preferred Qualifications:• Familiarity with CSE program• Ability to foster and work in a cooperative team environment• Must be proficient in the use of Word and Excel, and must be able to quickly learn other computer programs as needed• Able to represent the agency effectively and professionally and communicate with diverse groups• Experience in problem-solving, managing change, and conflict resolutionNote: Additional consideration may be given for years and types of experience and education beyond the minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities.Special Requirements
