As a member of Kuiper MAC-SW, you will be responsible for delivering embedded FW code running on ground networks on customer terminals and on satellites. You will be focused on designing, developing and testing complete Kuiper-MAC FW. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team of innovators, working on unique wireless technology that will enable millions of people to stay connected.

The Role

Design, develop, integrate and bring up Kuiper-MAC FW components/drivers in a real-time embedded environmentWorking in a cross-functional environment to define multi-dimensional performance requirements (e.g., MIPs, memory BW)Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet end-to-end use case requirementBuild component use-cases/test-cases and debug your code in Kuiper embedded environmentProfile and execute the code on RTOS and/or bare-metal embedded environmentContribute in defining services and functionalities delivered by your FW-subsystemsDefine, document, test and debug your FW-HW interfacesFamiliarity with SW/FW best practices (e.g., clean architecture, refactoring, …)

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
