Position Summary / Career Interest:Responsible for administering and monitoring anesthesia to patients during surgical and/or obstetrical procedures.

The Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply. Minimum Requirements:

Successful completion of nursing anesthesia program, certification, and eligibility for licensure in the State of Kansas are required.

CRNAs are integrated members of the anesthesia care team comprised of more than 100 CRNAs, 65 anesthesiologists, residents and anesthesia technicians.

Broad caseload in multiple surgical specialties - transplant, trauma, ortho, ENT, neurosurgery, OB and hearts. We welcome sub-specialty interests.

CRNAs perform a full range of procedures.

A minimum of 2 shifts per month and proof of malpractice for PRN staff.

8, 10, 12-hour shifts available.
