NOSC Network Manager

T-Rex Solutions is looking for an Engineering and Integration Manager to lead a pool of technical resources who support a federal Network Cyber and Cloud Support Services program. The main focus of this role is to support the following:Development and deployment of a centralized Cloud Management Platform as well as Platform as a Service solutionsAssist development teams with application migrations and other special projects involving applications, data, and the introduction of new XaaSImplement Shared ServicesIntegrate SAS capabilitiesReports to the Blanket Purchase Agreement Task Order (BPA TO) Program ManagerThis position will typically be located in either Colorado Springs, CO, Stennis, MS, Chandler, AZ, National Capitol Region (NCR) or Remote where applicable. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, appropriate clearance level, and are geographically aligned (or the ability to relocate) will be considered first.Responsibilities:Assess resource requirements for engineering and integrationDetermine best resource mix for specific projectsAssign engineering and integration resources to Technical Delivery ManagersEstablish and ensure adherence to engineering processes for building and deploying cloud solutions and servicesBalance and manage the priorities of a diverse team of engineering resources, in coordination with the leadership teamEnsure that E&I staff maintain required technical skill-sets through training and certificationsRespond to ad hoc requests from program leadership and customers as neededOversee technology evaluations and pilot projectsRequirements:Ten (10 plus) years of IT leadership experience6+ years of engineering leadership experienceSubstantive understanding of several areas including but not limited to Cloud, DevSecOps, Containerization, Data Management, Security, Application Migration, and NetworkingExperience managing teams of more than 25 FTEEffective team leadership skills, including risk management, skill development, task prioritization, performance management, and mentoring/coaching of cross-functional team membersAbility to meet multiple demands on time, in cross-functional, hybrid team environmentsStrong communication skills with customers at all levels as well as other team membersFamiliarity with industry best of breed automation toolsDemonstrated ability to keep pace with new technology and services offeringsExperience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM)Active Top Secret Security clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferredCloud certificationDesired Skills:ITILPMP certificationDHS CBP clearance desiredT-Rex OverviewEstablished in 1999, T-Rex Solutions, LLC is a proven mid-tier business providing data-centric mission services to the Federal government as it increasingly tries to secure and leverage the power of data.
