Our commitment is to foster open dialogue and empower individuals to express themselves freely.The X Search Team is working to change the way people interact with content on X. We’re creating a new content serving engine using the most modern AI techniques to provide semantic search capabilities across billions of posts made of text, images, audio, videos and more. Search will become the backbone for recommendations and interactions for X as we expand the platform to add embedding-based content retrieval and LLMs into other product surfaces.We are building new infrastructure to support cutting edge AI models, creating efficient and scalable inference pipelines and building reliable, scalable and simple read and write paths. We move fast and aim to build high quality products.What you’ll doResponsibilities:Create and ship features across the full product suite improving content retrievalDesign and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIsDesign and build the system that will expose content to LLM applicationsImprove large-scale, distributed microservices applicationsSolve problems using distributed systems, asynchronous messaging and vector databasesWho you areRequirements:At least 3-5 years of building SaaS applications, preferably in a service-oriented architecture or working with AI systemsBachelor’s degree or higher in CS, CE, EE or the equivalent in experienceDemonstrated success with scalable web applications or messaging systemsExperience with AI model deployment and product developmentPassionate, dedicated, smart but humble, with a bias for action and for enabling others’ successIf you thrive in a dynamic, high-growth tech environment and relish the opportunity to collaborate with passionate, driven over-achievers, your career with us here at X will be both exhilarating and fulfilling!
