UNIV - Open Rank - Neuroradiologist – Division Chief - Department of RadiologyThe Department of Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), located in historic Charleston, SC, is seeking applicants for a full-time Neuroradiology Division Chief position. This role presents an outstanding opportunity to lead a thriving division, to play a key role in advancing the academic mission of the Department of Radiology, and to foster the continued growth of internal and external collaborations. The selected candidate will oversee the clinical, educational, and research endeavors while promoting the academic and clinical expansion of the Neuroradiology Division, in alignment with the Department’s mission, strategy, and goals.

MUSC Minimum Requirements

Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent degree with completion of Neuroradiology fellowship or equivalent subspecialty training. Candidates must also be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology and board certified (or eligible) for CAQ in Diagnostic Neuroradiology. Eligibility for full medical licensure in the state of South Carolina is also required. Excellent qualifications in clinical care and education are expected, and appointees will carry clinical responsibilities in adult and pediatric neuroradiology, including brain, head and neck, and spine. A strong commitment to the education of medical students, residents, and neuroradiology fellows is essential. A track record of high-impact peer-reviewed publications and gaining research funding is highly desirable.

(Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand.
