Associate Director – Americas Consulting Marketing Event and Experiences Leader

Events play a critical role in shaping and advancing EY Consulting’s brand and relationships within the market. In this role, the leader for Marketing Events and Experiences will develop and oversee the strategy to drive engagement, impact, and revenue through events. You are responsible for establishing and growing an Events team, fostering innovation and collaboration to deliver exceptional event experiences aligned with EY Consulting’s goals.

General responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy to align with EY Consulting’s growth objectives.

Oversee the design and delivery of sponsorships and experiences that build EY’s reputation and deepen our relationships with clients and prospects.

Focus on negotiating sponsorship levels with approved funding levels and manage contract compliance review process.

Work closely with third-party hosts, vendors, and destination marketing companies.

Grow and lead a team of event professionals to deliver high-quality events from initial concept through execution and post-event evaluation.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate event initiatives into broader organizational strategies.

Manage relationships with business, marketing team, EY approved vendors, and other key stakeholders through effective communications.

Perform post-event duties such as debrief reports, expense processing, and event success assessments.

Serve as brand ambassador.

Skills and experience:

10-12 years of related work experience.

Demonstrated people management experience.

Established track record of creating and delivering successful events from inception to finish.

Able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with project management tools.

Detail-oriented with excellent project management and negotiating skills.

A startup mentality with a bias toward action.

Strong understanding of external event strategy ideally in B2B environment.

Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Experience working in both virtual and in-person event environments.

Positive and motivated self-starter.

Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Travel may be required.

What we offer:

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,300 to $245,000, with variations for specific areas. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
