Human Resources Manager

role is responsible for human resources field support for an assigned client group at Delta Air Lines, Inc. This position ensures the effective and consistent delivery of human resources services including coaching/counseling employees and management, sourcing and selection, performance management programs, organizational effectiveness, compensation, and providing Human Resources leadership. This position will support the In-Flight Services Division and will be based in California at the LAX airport. Specific activities include but are not limited to:Anticipating and meeting client needs.Creating integrated solutions to business problems or issues.Acting as an employee and company advocate that can balance decision making appropriately.Developing relationships with individuals, employee groups, and leaders of the business to communicate company policies/programs/procedures while providing leadership around organizational change, process consultation, and organizational development.Imparting HR expertise to management personnel and influencing clients based on company policy, focusing on positive employee relations and applicable laws.Serving as project lead/representative for corporate projects, managing timelines, and working with cross-divisional teams.Developing both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.Supporting employees in a 24/7 operation with multiple locations and requiring travel.Salary Range:

5-10 years of HR Manager experience supporting a business unit (or equivalent experience) is required.General knowledge of all HR disciplines with specific competence in at least three: compensation, benefits, employment, employee/labor relations, training/development, EEO, and organizational development.Ability to travel up to 40% of the time with some overnight travel included.Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and strong management presence.Effective platform/presentation skills and successful problem-solving ability.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strategic thinking and ability to influence decision making while building effective relationships.Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under pressure.Developing both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment.Must be performing satisfactorily in the present position.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business management, or a related field is strongly preferred.PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.Previous management/supervisory experience is preferred.
