Perkins Builders is now seeking an experienced
HSE Officer
to join our South-West team, working out of our Bunbury office. The ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for safety, looking to continue to build upon their HSE career in the commercial construction industry with a practical approach to safety on a construction site.The successful candidate is expected to:Be integral to the safety culture on site and implement the Perkins safety systems.Complete regular Site Inspections.Identify potential hazards, assess related risk and implement appropriate controls.Assist with Incident reporting and incident investigation.Assist subcontractors with adherence to our HSE requirements.Develop HSE documentation in consultation with the Site Manager, Project Manager, HSE Manager and sub-contractors.Participate in audits to ensure compliance with our integrated HSEQ system (policy and procedure).Attend to incidents and near misses as required.Input and collate HSE data for reporting purposes.Provide awareness on best practice and relevant legislation.Foster an education and awareness approach and identify opportunities for improvement.We offer a competitive salary and fully maintained work vehicle.
