As a Full-stack Engineer working on Remark’s core platform, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and testing features that change the way consumers buy online! Do you love solving complex problems, building tools that delight customers, and working in a highly collaborative environment? If so, this could be the perfect match.We build on a modern stack centered around TypeScript. Major elements include React (w/ Next.js), NestJS, Prisma, Bull, LangChain, and GraphQL. Ownership is a big facet of the culture at Remark, and as such we encourage strong input from each team member. If you feel strongly about building with something else, we’ll hear you out.Responsibilities

Contribute to the continuous development of our (many) front-ends, our back-end, and our infrastructure.Build performant and elegant systems & features with both user & developer experience in mind.Report directly to our Chief Technology Officer.Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.Participate in frequent code-reviews with fellow team members.Strong background in software engineering (3+ Years).Proficient in TypeScript.Experience with React, Node.js, and relational databases.A solid understanding of deployment practices / cloud infrastructure, which you use to inform your engineering choices.Passion for solving customer problems, developing strategies and roadmaps, and executing those plans to bring value to our business and customers.Experience with using qualitative and quantitative data (especially from A/B tests) to make engineering decisions. You also know when and how to balance data with intuition.Bonus points: experience with durable workflows (e.g. Temporal).You thrive when things move fast.Benefits
