Assists the Senior Pastor as the Young Adult Director and is responsible for the overall development, administration, and management of the Young Adult ministry of the church at all locations. The Youth Spiritual Formation Director and Young Adult Director will work together to shape the next generation of leaders in alignment with the Elizabeth Baptist Church's mission and values.Provide leadership and management of the young adult ministry team for the implementation of a young adult disciple-making ministry to impact the local community.Providing an entry point to explore the Christian faith and become introduced to redemption in Christ.Creating relationship-building opportunities for young adults from diverse backgrounds.Implementing discipleship groups and mentoring them to support their personal growth in Christ through relational discipleship.Equipping mature disciples to be able to disciple others and become the future leaders of the Christian faith.Specific Duties:Mobilize young adults for ministry consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the Elizabeth Baptist Church.Lead and organize an effective young adult disciple-making ministry including fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, relational discipleship, and evangelistic outreach opportunities.Implement digitally-based methods of communication and relationship building that are relevant to this generational group.Create engaging and meaningful opportunities for all young adults to connect and grow together in an authentic and personal way creating a sense of belonging.Explore and implement evangelistic outreach events to connect young adults in the local community to our church community.Promote an authentic culture where young adults feel connected to each other as a church family; where each individual is valued and celebrated.Ensure safe and healthy small group environments, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.Develop young adult leaders in the church.Mentor disciple-making leaders from diverse backgrounds, gifts, and personalities. Cultivate individual mentoring relationships with small group leaders to mature them in their personal journey's practical, emotional and spiritual aspects.Skills:Ability to communicate effectively; strategically plan, organize, develop, motivate, and supervise personnel. Ability to interact with multiple people with grace and enthusiasm. In addition, the following skills are desired for this position: online marketing, event planning, project management, technology, budgeting/finance, and coaching.Qualifications / Knowledge:A bachelor's degree is desired with at least two years of experience in Christian ministry (as a volunteer leader or member of staff).Ability to communicate effectively; strategically plan, organize, develop, motivate, and supervise personnel. In addition, the following skills are desired for this position: singing, praise & worship lead, choreography (ability to plan physical movements for children to engage in that correspond with song lyrics), and computer literacy.Job Type:
