Our combined staff of more than 1,700 engineers and design professionals have expertise that spans all major engineering disciplines to serve the industrial, transportation, power, water/wastewater, mining, building, and oil, gas & chemical markets.Our rapidly growing Industrial Engineering team is a multi-faceted division focused on EPC and design-build delivery of industrial projects in markets such as Food & Beverage, Mineral Processing, Renewable Fuels, and more.Location
This position is based out of Lenexa, KS or Minneapolis, Minnesota. Opportunities for flexible work are available.Responsibilities
Comprehends and identifies issues and analyzes the situation to propose solutions.Acts as a field resource to assist construction in field resolution on issues.Initiates development of personal objectives aligned with those of the organization.Utilizes codes and standards to complete assignments with little supervision.Identifies changes in the scope of work during a small project and produces design changes as needed to stay within budget and schedule.Design and draft intermediate electrical drawings.Properly size cables and raceways.Perform layout of electrical equipment in electrical buildings.Qualifications
BS degree or Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology and a minimum of 4 years Electrical and/or I&C design experience. If no degree, High School diploma + 8 years’ related experience.Intermediate AutoCAD or Microstation skills.Experience with design/drafting for drawings, P&IDs, One Line Diagrams, Panel designs, electrical layouts.Able to manage multiple responsibilities with set expectations and meet deadlines.Other Requirements:
