10+ years of product development within a regulated industry.Graduate degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Ability to plan and schematize complex electro-mechanical systems, including cabling and connectorizing.Experience with vacuum equipment and high voltage (+100kV)/power systems.A demonstrable history of writing device control software (C++ preferred).Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and simulation of complex systems.Intimate knowledge of manufacturing processes, document controls, and assembly techniques for custom high-tech equipment.Cross-functional aptitude and the ability to work with both scholars and technicians.Capable of conducting quality assurance tests and data analysis.Responsibilities
