Because when you feel free to be you, it makes it a lot easier for us to be us.Job Description:As a Senior UX/UI Designer, within the IT Engineering department, you’ll be involved in the full life-cycle of design for a portfolio of internal custom applications used across a diverse line of business, such as sales, marketing, customer success, human resources, recruiting, and products, to run our $2B+ and growing business. You’ll partner with product managers and engineers to deliver great experiences, as well as compelling user interfaces to both external and internal users, enabling them through phenomenal user experiences.We’re looking for thinkers and innovators who are willing to challenge the status quo and are energized by developing creative solutions to complex problems. In addition, great oral communication and written documentation skills are valuable for this role in promoting ideas throughout the company.What you’ll do:Work closely with product managers and engineering teams, to deliver best-in-class user experiences and compelling visual designs for a diverse portfolio of internal and external applicationsPerform usability studies to challenge established thinking and discover new ways of solving problemsDevelop user workflow diagrams, storyboards, prototypes, and wireframesDevelop compelling visual designs for products that excite end-users and create brand awarenessPresent designs and effectively communicate design rationale to diverse stakeholdersPartner with teams to define product roadmaps and prioritize requirements for releasesCreate detailed design specifications and design standards for enterprise IT applicationsDrive design in accord with principles of user-centered designEnsure projects fulfill business requirements, goals, and delight end-usersRequirements:7+ years of combined experience in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design5+ years of experience designing for single-page web applications5+ years of experience designing for mobile applicationsExpertise in data visualization and information architectureExpertise in using industry-standard design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe CCExpertise creating prototypes to communicate design concepts to users and project partnersExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPreferred knowledge and experience:Experience delivering in an Agile environmentEducation:BS or MS in Visual Design or equivalent experience requiredWhat We Offer You:If you’d like to join one of the fastest-growing and most exciting tech companies in Silicon Valley, contact us!Benefits are an important part of Splunk’s Total Rewards package. Please contact us to request accommodation.Base Pay Range:SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro AreaBase Pay Range: $147,200.00 – 202,400.00 per yearCalifornia (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and MassachusettsBase Pay Range: $132,000.00 – 181,500.00 per yearAll other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.Base Pay Range: $124,000.00 – 170,500.00 per yearSplunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.

In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
