Founded in 2007, Great Minds now employs more than 1,100 people.Role OverviewThe senior director for Great Minds Schools is responsible for growing and implementing Great Minds’ industry-leading whole-school support model across the United States. Launched as a pilot in 2021, Great Minds Schools supports partner schools in implementing multiple high-quality curricular products, including Eureka Math Squared, Geodes, PhD Science, and Wit & Wisdom. Through intensive coaching and continuous improvement cycles, the model emphasizes not only shifts in classroom practice but also shifts in school culture and climate, effecting academic gains as well as improvements in teacher retention and disciplinary referrals.Specific ResponsibilitiesEstablishing and maintaining relationships with district and school leaders who are partners in the Great Minds Schools initiative;Managing a team of implementation leaders and coaches who support Great Minds Schools partners;Consistently evaluating key metrics that will monitor progress of all Great Minds Schools, including engaging with internal and external evaluators;Developing and managing new relationships with prospective Great Minds Schools partner districts and schools, individually and in group settings such as webinars and conferences;Serving as primary champion for the Great Minds Schools initiative with internal and external partners, including Product, Sales, and Success teams.Minimum Qualifications10+ years of experience in leadership within schools or school districts;A track record of managing teams to successful outcomes;Experience leading initiatives or organizations in start-up or pilot phases, bringing ideas to greater maturity or scale;A demonstrated history of achieving student progress over the course of a career, emphasizing the needs of students most in need of support;Working experience with Great Minds curricula.Required EducationBachelor’s degree;StatusFull-time;LocationRemote;New employees will be required to successfully complete a background check.The expected base salary range for this position is $176,000-$200,000. The offered salary, benefits and other incentives are dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations.Great Minds is an equal opportunity employer.
