This position assesses the expected development impacts of prospective DFC projects, with a particular focus on direct lending and investments for projects in the energy, agriculture and food security, health, climate, infrastructure, and women’s economic empowerment sectors.Major Duties:

Assesses expected development impact of DFC projects, focusing on direct lending and investments for projects in the energy, agriculture and food security, health, climate, infrastructure, and women’s economic empowerment sectors.Conducts development impact clearances as part of the investment due diligence process based on DFC’s impact framework, the Impact Quotient (IQ), and defines the monitoring plan for the investment to track actual impact of investments.Works closely with investment teams to provide high-quality, timely development impact assessment, sharing concerns, opportunities to maximize impact, and lessons learned.Collaborates with the Monitoring & Analytics group to monitor and manage the impact performance of DFC projects.Represents DFC and builds DFC’s brand within the impact management sector and contributes to the development of DFC’s thought leadership materials.Conditions of Employment:

Applicants must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements no later than the closing date of this announcement.You may qualify at the GS-14 level if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to 1) Assess the development impact of international investments and/or projects in at least one of the following sectors: energy, agriculture & food security, health, climate, infrastructure and/or women’s economic empowerment; AND 2) Communicate key insights to decision-makers to maximize project and/or portfolio/program impact.Note: Education is not substitutional at this grade level.Additional Information:
