Project Director
for our dynamic Phillip Island Sales Team. This is a unique opportunity to show outstanding results and leadership. You will lead the team by initiating key sales strategies to ensure sustained development and growth of this site.About the roleThe Project Director plans, controls and directs the daily activities of the sales team to obtain maximum sales efficiencies while maintaining high quality standards. The Project Director is responsible for ensuring the site meets/exceeds the monthly site budget in a positive and compliant manner. This position is responsible for directing the operation and providing motivation, guidance and leadership to associates so they meet/exceed the objectives of the site.About youYou will have previous Timeshare/Vacation Ownership sales background with experience in supporting and managing a successful high volume sales team. You will have a successful proven track record in achieving sales targets and closing the deal. Sound leadership ability including motivating, coaching and performance management accompanied with effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.To be successful in this role, you will be:Ensuring the sales management team provides a positive interface with all on-site and corporate departments and actively supports the Developer Representative’s recommendations.Sharing the role of presenter/trainer as required.Developing community relations between the Company and the neighbourhood through positive representation and proactive community awareness.Utilising sales, marketing and fiscal reports to assist in managing the site profitability.Actively supporting and modelling compliance with company policies and procedures.Ensuring currency of required permits, licenses certifications etc. to enable sales operations.Building, developing and managing an engaged team.Providing regular coaching, mentoring and feedback to the team to ensure continued development and identify training needs.Establishing service quality standards based on internal customer requirements.Identifying trends/root causes and taking action to ensure desired results are achieved.Developing and sponsoring initiatives that foster open communication.Consulting with appropriate stakeholders to obtain agreement or remove barriers before implementing change.KEY POSITION CRITERIA:Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business.Demonstrated empathy and the ability to build upon other people’s ideas.Proven ability to implement alternative methods to achieve goals in the face of obstacles.Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines without compromising quality.Proven leadership, motivating, coaching and performance management skills.Ability to plan for line requirements and attract, recruit and retain quality sales staff.High level application and focus to drive sales (using sales techniques such as building rapport, needs/values selling, negotiating, and closing the sale).Strong personal values regarding customer service, delivering on the promise and integrity.A solutions focus and problem solving ability.Ability to conduct effective meetings.Knowledge and application of sales techniques such as building rapport, needs/values selling, negotiating, and closing the sale.Positive and enthusiastic attitude and ability to inspire same in others.Where You’ll Begin Your JourneyWyndham Destinations Asia Pacific develops, markets and sells vacation ownership interests in a network of 51 resorts across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Bali, Thailand, Hawaii, Japan and Europe and serves more than 60,000 vacation owners in Club Wyndham South Pacific.
